
🤗 Welcome to the IT Service Guru blog and our very first blog post. In March 2020, the world went to shit as countries went into lockdown and businesses faced unprecedented challenges. For the IT industry, this meant a rapid shift towards remote work and cloud-based solutions.
Unfortunately, the sudden rush to adapt work from home left many employees without the proper IT support they needed, and some businesses struggled to scale up their operations in the cloud due to cloud vendor capacity scaling. This led to panic and rushed decisions by businesses, which meant IT decisions may not have been implemented as effectively as they could have been.
As businesses began to fold or shift their focus, I started to wonder how I could help. How could I provide tips and advice to those working from home? How could I assist companies in migrating to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace? How could I guide them through the process of achieving digital transformation? Which cloud vendor AWS, Azure or GCP should they choose?
So what did I do? Sadly, I did nothing at the time. However, fast forward three years later and I’m excited to finally launch this blog. Offering assistance, support, and tips to anyone who reads it. Whether you’re an individual working from home or a business looking to embrace new technologies, I hope this blog will provide you with the guidance you need.
